When I wrote The Trigger: The Ninth Pete Culnane Mystery, I was convinced it would be my last. Within weeks, I knew I was wrong. Despite the challenges my failing vision brings, I couldn't walk away from Pete and Martin — and honestly, they wouldn't have let me.
